Yesterday, the Foundation inaugurated a new painting exhibition by Maria Vich at its headquarters in Palma (C / San Jaime 4).
Entitled “Memories of childhood”, the exhibition brings together more than 50 works, with different themes, techniques and styles, that come from that naive, pure and truthful child corner, from which the painter Maria Vich creates. An exhibition inspired by the spirit of these so touching dates where the desire to return to have illusions makes us want to return, if only for a moment, to that childhood where the dreams were intact.
On the occasion of Christmas, a small Nativity with decorative figures made by Maria Vich herself, is also exhibited.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the President and Vice-President of the Barceló Foundation, Maria Antonia Barceló and Antonia Barceló; the General Director of the same, Rafael Torra; the artist Maria Vich and the curator of the exhibition, Pilar Pujol, among others.
For all those interested in visiting can do so completely free until next January 4. Visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The holidays will be closed.
