The Barceló Foundation has just renewed its project “ISABELITA NEIGBOURHOOD SCHOLARSHIP”.

In response to a request for help from the Dominican Sisters of the “La Isabelita” neighbourhood, the Foundation decided in 2020 to create scholarships to help children and young peopie from one of the poorest areas of Saint Domingo, to continue their studies in private schools when they do not have places in public schools. The 68 scholarships offered cover the tuition costs, school materials and travels.
Once again this year, with this grant we can contribute to improving the education of disadvantaged young people in the “La Isabelita” neighbourhood.
