The works of one of the kindergartens built in the Kaalen area as part of the project to provide educational infrastructures in the Turkana area that we started in 2018 have recently been completed. As of today, there are 7 kindergartens built in the region. It is planned to end the year with 12 kindergartens that will be part of a broader project that not only encompasses education, but also, agriculture, health and water and sanitation infrastructures under the title “Turkana Intervention”.
In the area of education, 1.200 children receive daily educational and nutritional care in a safe place in one of the most inhospitable areas of Kenya.
