Taking advantage of the visit of the President, Ms. Francisca Barceló Vadell, to the Canary Islands, interviews and conferences have been organised to publicise the work of the Foundation.

In the Canary Islands there are 18 hotels belonging to the Barceló group and actions are being organised to achieve a greater impact and obtain aid for the implementation of the Foundation’s projects, mainly in the areas of water and sanitation, within its AGUAY+ project.

In 2021, the Barceló Foundation developed 111 projects in 16 countries for a value of 2.1 million euros and 284,487 beneficiaries.
