Last Tuesday, November 15, a donation managed by the Barceló Foundation was made, of a donation from the Barceló Illetas Albatros hotel. This donation successfully reached the old Sorrento hostel.

The old Hostal Sorrento in Palma is a building that has been in disuse since February 2021. The Amadiba association bought it and ceded it to the Government to accommodate Ukrainian refugees. It has a total capacity of 56 people, although for now there are 5 families: 8 adults and 25 children, who until now were with foster families can no longer take care of it. The Amar UcraÏna association is in charge of managing the building and hosting refugees.

Last Tuesday a van from the Barceló Foundation arrived to make the delivery that included dishes, glasses, sheets, towels and food, among other items, which were donated by the hotel.
