The Occidental Atenea Mar Hotel in Barcelona and the Mallorcan artist Maria Antònia Mateu Salvá collaborate with the Barceló Foundation with the exhibition “Micro i macro cosmos” and “Citratius invisibles”, through which 15% of the retail price of the works will be donated to the solidarity projects of the Barceló Foundation.
The opening will take place next Friday April 1st at 7:00 pm at the Hotel Occidental Atenea Mar (Passeig García i Faria, 37-47), where attendees, welcomed with a glass of champagne, will be accompanied by the author in an explanation and approach to her artistic projects, all enlivened with music. In addition, for the first 25 attendees there will be a surprise.
The exhibition will be open to the public until May 1st.
Maria Antònia Mateu Salvá (@mariantoniamsalvart) formed early in the Art Academy of the artist Antònia Oliver, studied Bachelor of Arts in Palma, Fine Arts and a Master of Contemporary Artistic Creation at the University of Barcelona, where she currently resides and where she worked as an educator for several years (almost 4) at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, currently as a teacher at the School of Art and Design Serra i Abella in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat while developing her second year of research for her thesis in the Art and Education Program at the University of Barcelona.
She has participated in several group exhibitions in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca and in collaboration with the Barceló Foundation and the Occidental Atenea Mar Hotel, opens her third individual exhibition with the entire project “Micro i macro cosmos” and a “prémière” of what is the current project “Citratius invisibles”.
