The Mallorcan entity has signed a collaboration agreement with the Museke Association to facilitate the schooling of 105 young people from vulnerable families in Nemba.
Contributing to the improvement of education, in those countries where access to it by children is not always easy, is one of the priority objectives of the Barceló Foundation. For this reason, it has recently signed a collaboration agreement with the Museke Association to grant scholarships during the 2017 school year, to facilitate the empowerment of young people in Rwanda.
With a budget of € 10,302, the Foundation will finance tuition, school supplies and travel expenses for 105 secondary school students (66 girls and 39 boys between 8 and 17 years old) who, without these grants, would not have the option of continuing with their training. In fact, there is a high dropout ratio in the country, as only 13.2% of the population has some type of secondary school study.
