Last Tuesday the solidarity market organized by the Barceló Foundation ended. This was carried out on November 7 and 8 in the Plaza del Rey Juan Carlos I. In the market you could buy various handicrafts brought from various projects in Africa. Among the crafts could be found bracelets, key chains, scarves, bags, backpacks, under plates and much more, all handmade by beneficiaries of projects in Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda.
The money raised will be used to continue buying these handicrafts from the beneficiaries and thus help them obtain an income to support their families. In this way we also encourage work and development.
We still have crafts available in stock, so it is still possible to support all these families that benefit from the sale of crafts. The available crafts can be found on the web, or by visiting us in person at our headquarters in Carrer de Sant Jaume, 4.
