Once again, the Mallorcan entity is ahead of the Nit de l’Art, inaugurating a new collective exhibition of paintings at its headquarters in Palma (Calle Sant Jaume, 4)
The ceremony was attended by the General Director of Culture of the Balearic Government, Joana Català; the senator, Catalina Soler; the mayor of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, Mateu Puigròs; the president of the Barceló Foundation, Maria Antonia Barceló and the general director of the same, Rafael Torra.
“Imago Mundi” or what is the same, Images of the World, aims to reflect the immensity of artistic prisms from which art can be understood. Miquel Sebastián (Mallorca), Aina Llull (Mallorca), Birgit Fedl-Dohr (Austria), Mateo de Vallescar (Mexico), Brigitte Mücke (Germany) and Mourad Abdellaoui (Algeria), among others, show us that one can have different visions of art but that in the end it does not understand of countries, borders or flags, but it uses a universal language that does not need interpreters or translators.
The exhibition can be enjoyed, free of charge, until October 11, 2018. Visiting hours are from Monday to Friday from 11 am to 1:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 11: 00 to 1:00 p.m. On Saturday 22, on the occasion of the Nit de l’Art, it will also be open from 19 to 24 hours.
