This morning the Foundation has made public the concession of more than 320,000 euros in aid, for the realization of social projects in Mallorca, as well as the list of the 34 entities which will receive the aid.
These are projects not subsidized by the Administration and that cover very different areas of action and beneficiary groups, such as children, young people in situations of social exclusion, immigrants, people with cerebral or physical palsy, rare diseases, etc.
Maria Antonia Barceló, President of the Barceló Foundation, said that “we are very happy because once again we have increased the number of subsidized institutions and also the amount of aid granted. It is a great satisfaction for the Foundation to be able to support these projects that benefit the disadvantaged groups of the island “.
It is the third year that the Foundation grants this aid to associations such as ASPANOB, Associació Pa i Mel, Fundació Respiralia, Handisport and La Sonrisa Médica. This year ASPAYM and the project “Ressonancies de talent”, carried out by the Jove Orquestra de les Illes Balears have been incorporated.
The event was attended by the President of the Barceló Foundation, Maria Antonia Barceló, the General Director of the same, Rafael Torra, the Technical Advisor of the Foundation, Tomeu Márquez and representatives of the 34 beneficiary entities, which have proceeded to sign the agreement of collaboration.
