SAMPOL Group has made a donation to the Barceló Foundation to contribute to its project “AGUAY+, Clean Water for All”.

SAMPOL’s collaboration will go towards the construction of a water well in the region of Turkana, Kenya, an area that is currently suffering from extreme drought and is in urgent need of universal access to drinking water.

The AGUAY+ project of the Barceló Foundation contemplates in 2022 the construction of a total of 10 water wells in Turkana, which are part of a total of 200 manual wells, rehabilitations, installations of hydraulic networks, water sources, construction of latrines and solar panels, distributed between the region of Turkana in Kenya, as well as in Uganda, Burkina Faso and Haiti to be completed in 2023.

Gabriel Sampol, president of SAMPOL Group, met at the headquarters of the Barceló Foundation with our co-founder Mr. Gabriel Barceló, our president Ms. Francisca Barceló and our Managing Director, José María Navarro, on the occasion of the act of delivery of the donation.
