Four years ago, we started the collaboration project with the Society of Jesus in Chad, through which the “Construction of a Lycée-Technical School” was initiated.

Since then, the center has been growing year after year, with the construction of several blocks of classrooms, assembly and computer rooms, toilets, offices and other facilities. In addition, a 45 mts well has been drilled and a water tower with a generator has been installed to provide electricity and clean water to the center.

Currently, more than 100 students receive their basic general education training daily and, by the end of 2022, we will have built three new classrooms that will allow students to continue their high school and vocational training studies in Administration and Mechanics in the new 2022/2023 school year.

The Society of Jesus in Chad, present in the Department of Lac Iro since 1956, is responsible for the Parish of Kyabé and the educational center under the direction of the Majorcan Father Manuel Fortuny.
